Snowy Egrets are smaller while the Great White Egret are (obviously) much bigger. The photo is beautifully captured.

It was bigger then the White-Faced Heron (by how much I don't remember)
Most likely it was the Great Egret Ardea alba but there is also an Intermediate Egret Ardea intermedia and a Eastern Reef Egret Egretta (Ardea) sacra which is about the same size as the Intermediate Egret... so in conclusion as I didn't have a measuring tape up against it, I can only guess which one it is.
