Description The blade is crafted out of lightweight metal and the crossguard is plated in diluted gold. Though normally a fairly standard sword it looks as though someone added a string of runes along the dull edge of the blade and a stone medallion as the pommel, molding it into a Duskblade's weapon (or Spellsword, if you prefer). The string of runes allows the sword to perform some basic pyromancy and also grants it more durability so that constantly being ablaze does not make the blade malleable. The medallion itself "supposedly" regenerates mana of the user at a quickened rate, but this is only as reliable as an old wives tale. The jewel embedded in the crossguard is some kind of emerald and serves no direct purpose except that whoever owned the sword was certainly no average footsoldier. It is quite possible that this sword belonged to Terrien's father before it fell to him, though if this is true then it is likely Terrien who added the runes and such

This is the sword used by the half-elf Duskblade Ranger, Terrien in the massive fantasy saga that I'm fortunate to be a part of. Now, to be honest I don't think I did as good on this one as with some of my previous works but I think it's passable... I followed ~kryshen 's schematic closely and hopefully it didn't turn out too plain... I also hope the color scheme is acceptable anyways folks, here it is!

hey man, I just worked out a deal with Logan, he's going to cover this bit for me. Sorry, it's just that I'm moving out this year and I have a lot of stuff going on right now, I just signed my lease this weekend, it's a great place, only 800 square feet, but hardwood floors, brand new kitchen, hardwood cabinets, new stove, new fridge, new bathroom. It's beautiful, and it's on the 10th floor, so security is a plus. Yeah, that's what I've been up to haha, congrats on getting your laptop back btw

harharhar well good fer you! maybe consider buying a sniper rifle? play Tower Commando and rescue people with a rifle and telescope? My friend ran some numbers and Cheytac Intervention is a pretty good rifle even though the ammo is specialized...

Well that's when they start entering the range of anti-material rifles so that's no surprise Out of AM rifles my favorite would either be the Steyr IWS 2000 (sabot round!) or the Mechem 14mm Anti-Material Rifle. Mechem delivers more joules on impact I think and has a pretty good range, but IWS 2000 is reported to be able to punch through two heavily armored vehicles and keep going!

I like the vehicle penetration... but do either of those come with explosive rounds? The barrette does! and besides... the barrette can split a man in half from two miles.... that's an impressive claim

Well the 14mm by Mechem usually hits with such impact that the target explodes regardless though I'm not sure if it is because of explosive rounds. I know the IWS 2000 is viewed as possibly the most powerful anti-tank rifle in the world and they use it to take out radar cabins and helicopters too. Goes about 4750 fps; that said, it will penetrate two walls of any modern APC at one kilometer range.

But what Barrett model was this again? it sounds nice!

the m107, it's only got a muzzle velocity of something like 3000 fps, but it'll get the job done haha.... it'll run you 8650 though.... so... get a good job and save up for awhile haha

yeah, the IWS 2000 is still kind of experimental so I don't think it's on the market yet. 8650 USD though sounds very affordable for that kind of power

The Barret or the Steyr? In the US I don't think either of them is legal we're rather touchy with sniper rifles/anti-material rifles which is funny because you can get a permit for a rocket launcher
