Description
This is the updated version of Jonathan, Godfather of the Siler Crime Family. If you want to see his old design check out the Original Villains folder in my gallery.

While he is a mobster, he's also descended from Vikings and since my stories always have more than a touch of Fantasy I gave him a cool armored outfit.

He recently appeared in Hyaku Seiken II as a boss and is due for a return in a future title. Which one, I'm not sure. But this entry contains hints of what happened to him followign the events of Hyaku Seiken II and shadows his future plans. I hope you enjoy.

Short Bio: Jonathan is Clayton and Ingrid's father and the current Patriarch of the Siler Family, a clan that can trace its roots back to the Viking’s first visit to North America, where an intrepid warrior named Silar the Brave left his party to further explore the continent. When he arrived in what is today Chatham County, North Carolina he fell in love with the rural but temperate settings and later sent for his family back in Scandinavia and made his home there, beginning the Siler Family bloodline. Since then Silar’s descendants have followed their warrior ancestry by taking part in nearly every one of America’s conflicts from the Revolutionary War to the Middle East with the best of the family holding top political positions. As such it is a tradition in the town that the current Patriarch of the family has a significant say in the politics of the town. Jonathan’s father, Daniel, took that to a different level when he was elected the Mayor. Jonathan has followed suit and proudly served his city since the late 1980’s. But when traveling the world in his 30’s he was shocked to hear that no one had heard of the Silar the Brave or Siler City.

This set a fire in him that would burn into his old age and lead him to turn his beloved town into a city the likes of which the world would recognize. But to do this he knew that he would need power and land to go with his wealth, which he built in his early adult years as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and later a Private Attorney. He achieved his power thanks to a pact with the Black Siler Dragon, a native dragon with pitch-black scales that battled with Silar himself shortly after the Viking made his way to Siler City. To help keep his bloodline strong, Black Siler Dragon granted Silar the Brave and his children a portion of his power. Every grandchild and great-grandchild of Silar from then on would be born with a portion of the Dragon's power, making all main members of the current Siler Family Choujin. But Jonathan knew he needed more power to make his dream come true. He had always has a keen interest in mythology, particularly stories involving Dragons, and knew that he could find the Dragon’s resting place at the bottom of Chatham County’s Jordan Lake. The now-ancient Black Siler Dragon sensed Jonathan’s ambition and agreed to lend him more of his power as well as the power of his Black Dragon Army. With these powers at his fingertips, Jonathan began creating what would become his empire, hiring his family and others loyal to the Family's cause from all over Chatham County.

With his army complete, Jonathan went about annexing the rest of Chatham County and neighboring Randolph County into Siler City’s jurisdiction, giving him the economic boost he needed for his criminal empire thanks to the City of Asheboro, home to the North Carolina Zoo, a big attraction for the state. The U.S. Government sent countless agents, spies, and assassins to quell Jonathan’s ambitions but his sheer power and otherworldly abilities coupled with the then current Middle Eastern strife bought them no luck. Head Captain Reginald Neville of Toku America immediately stepped up to meet the challenge and managed to bring an end to Jonathan’s ambitions in 2011 with the help of Seijyuken wielders in their employ. Jonathan and his sons Andrew and Timothy avoided capture and took refuge with Long Scientific Conglomerate CEO David Long , Jonathan’s long-lost older brother, in Chicago. Though it pained Jonathan greatly to leave Siler City he knew that for his ambitions to succeed he would have to lay low for the time being. He used this time to plan his comeback while anxiously awaiting his return to the city he loves. He would get his big break thanks to Uchuu Guntai Salvaje’s invasion of Earth in 2012, which forced Toku America to stretch out its forces. Even better for Jonathan was when Toku America lost the Seijyuken wielders due to Sajvaje’s cunning. Seizing his opportunity, Jonathan, Andrew, and Timothy snuck back into Siler City and began quietly rebuilding their empire. Through bribes and people loyal to the Siler Family, he re-annexed the rest of Chatham and later Randolph County. This time Jonathan made sure to get rid of those not on his payroll through any means necessary. With his footing secured, Jonathan is now poised to strike back at Toku America, the main obstacle in the growth of his empire.

As one would expect, Jonathan is a charismatic orator with a powerful command presence. Though his acts seem barbaric to some, this man is far from a cliché megalomaniac looking for world domination. He merely wishes to turn Siler City into a worldly city that people want to visit and live in. In fact, he is thought of as a hero to most of Chatham County’s citizens due to the fact that the brunt of his forces is unemployed Siler City natives hit by the economic depression. Before his conquest Jonathan was a good friend of Antonio’s father David the second who spent half of his early life in Siler City. Jonathan served in the U.S. Army when he met David, then a treasure hunter, on a mission for the Army. Jonathan was impressed with David the second's skills and the two became friends. Years later, at the start of the Family, Jonathan asked David to join the Siler Family as a General. But David couldn’t bring himself to join the gangsters, especially with a young family. This ended their friendship and began a rivalry between the Silers and Holmans that was broken when Clayton and Antonio joined forces. He also holds a grudge against Reginald and Toku Sentai for handing him his first defeat and seducing his children Clayton and Ingrid and had plans to settle the score.

Jonathan recently set out to capture the Armor of Orion, special armor worn by the warrior in the Seven Year War. However, Jonathan was defeated once again. This time by Clayton, who spared his father in hopes of redeeming him only to have Jonathan be whisked away in an attack following the battle thanks to dealings by Timothy. With a new lease on his ambitions, Jonathan has set about rebuilding the Siler Crime Family. Though Timothy is serving time in a California prison for killing a Hispanic man in a bar brawl in Los Angeles, Andrew is more than willing to pick up the slack and step in as Executive of the Siler Crime Family. Jonathan has also renewed his contract with Ninja Takamaru , who happily accepted. Also working with him are two new faces: Black Cowboy Charles Martel and saucy Latina Selena Gutierrez. Both with thier own ambitions and reasons for serving but loyal to Jonathan and the cause.

Jonathan primarily fights using the House of Silar Swordplay, swordsmanship handed down through the Siler Family via Silar the Brave himself, coupled with the Umbrakinesis, control over darkness, of the Black Siler Dragon. The gold armor Jonathan wears was a gift from the Black Siler Dragon to Silar the Brave as a gesture of goodwill and respect after Silar bested the dragon in combat. The armor has magical properties but can only be worn by a member of the Siler Family and, because of that, is a total mystery to Toku Sentai. The recapture of his children Clayton and Ingrid is top priority for Jonathan but he also wishes to possess the mythical Seijyuken after seeing them in battle firsthand back in 2011.
