Description It's late and I donΒ‘t want to think of a title for this one...

This one had me wondering. if i should upload it or not, well i like it so here it is.

Sold my Xti so this are the last photos of it, staying only with the 40D untill i find a 20D for backup.

just asking, what made you sold your 400D to buy a 20D as backup? was there a specific reason? the specs seem to be much the same for the two cameras.

I sold it cause i am getting a nitro powered RC car, a Truggy to be more specific. And then, well, i think a 20D is a little bit more robust for heavy work, which i do a lot. So that's the reason why.

makes sense. i'm trying to upgrade (or downgrade if that's how you see it) from the 400D to a 20/30/40D but i don't know how successful i will be. i think i'll be sticking with my 400D for a while.

Keep the 400D, it's a great piece of equipment, invest in lenses first, then get a new body.

you've definitely had more experience with sports photography than me with the 400D and the other cameras so i'll take your word for it. does it matter that much that the 400D is only 3 fps? i've never really looked at which lenses to get though, so i'll have to have a look around for some long f2.8 lenses. thanks.

Nah, 3 FPS is ok, you learn to be accurate when shooting sports.

f2.8 lenses are expensive, you should consider the canon 100 400mm L lens, even though it's not 2.8 it will work in most of the situations. Anyway, if you get the chance, buy the 70 200mm L f2.8

thanks for that. i'll definitely work on getting new lenses instead of upgrading the body in the short term.
