Look, I'm sure a lot of people like it, but I don't want any part of it. The plot just seemed completely asinine. "Living clothes that turn into stripper jocks" and "freedom from the clothes" messages screamed from the caps, and I wanted no part of another anime with a stupid plot.
Clothes, Evil? It's like saying Couches Fly, and the **** they do.

Ed and Sora take this. While Ed has never defeated Dante, Sora is more than strong enough to take her out. Vanitas is quite powerful, but Ventus was able to defeat him and I view Sora as a stronger version of Ventus. Also Ed and Sora would actually work together while Dante & Vanitas would distrust each other and fight for themselves.

i was saying that cuz the majority of people here think that sora and ed can defeat them easily just 'cause they are the main characters. And that's not true. Edward died after fighting Dante and her son. (oops i didn't want to spoil, but u probably knew that).

The only thing i can think of is that, you could have Dante using Alchemy to fight, since i don't remember her really using alchemy in the 2003 show. And you could have Vanitas use the X-blade? I still have chapters to catch up on so i don't know if you'd be able to set up the X-blade for when you wanted the fight to take place, but that's what popped in my head...

Well I'm still grateful.
Dante CAN actually use alchemy, a greatly enhanced form of alchemy that could make gargoyles (episode 44) and giant serpents (episode 49) from the ground up, recreate things that were once whole (episode 44), and she can erase anything in her path (episode 49). It also appears that in Lyra's body, she has a capable amount of speed and durability when attacked by Edward, maybe in Fullmetal Kingdom, those attributes could be improved greatly as well as her skill in attacks. Sora will probably have a hard time facing an EVIL Keyblade Master. Plus, Dante's deceptive and cruel, using truth, secrets, and lies to trick someone and/or break their confidence, like when against Edward, she revealed the reasons for the Alchemy exam to find the most capable alchemist to serve her, and in that moment, she pulls a 'Maleficent' and threatens a baby, who she engraved a Transmutation Circle upon to instantly banish someone from the world's reality and into another. Also, you may have already known about this, but Lyra's one of those girls on a list I made a while ago that may have a friendship with Sora, Dante could use that to her advantage and REALLY piss him off to the point where she tells him he's hurting Lyra and not her.
As for Vanitas, it can be a challenge bringing the x-Blade into the story for him to use, but maybe something will come to me to help bring out an idea of how that sword will come into existence for him to use against Edward. Also, an unmasked Vanitas could rattle Ed's conscience a bit when his opponent looks exactly like Sora! Vanitas already has a unique talent in swordsmanship, quick steps, and Black Magic to aid him, so in a fight, he and Ed could be (in a scary way) tied to the point of a stalemate. Vanitas also has the power to summon demonic creatures called the Unversed (thinking of changing the name to the Unbirth), so that (and a strange control over metal objects and Keyblades) could make fighting him a bit more challenging.
I can see now why talking to someone could help me allot in hard situations. Thanks dude!

Ah, ok I thought she might have. The giant serpants would be neat, could she erase people? That would be interesting? Send someone in that serves no purpose to the story once so ever have her erase them and Ed and Sora are freaking out, I don't know. I remember the stuff about the baby... I don't know if i saw the list...
I figured that figuring out a way to incorporate the X-blade would be the hard part. But I agree, It could rattle Ed, with Vanitas looking like Sora. As well as Vanitas being a really good fighter ( i got so frusterated the first time i fought him...) and i can see where they where they would be tied. But with Vanitas doing his 'warping thing' he may be faster than Ed. I love the Unversed! Don't know why...Calling them Unbirthed would be cool...
