I'm glad that I'm finally done with this. Though I love MLP:FiM, I suck at drawing ponies...I try, but it's not good enough. What other way can I express my fanship than to draw them in the style I am best at?

Some of you who draw human pegasai often give them the "real bird-like wings" or no wings at all. I'm siding with the sci-fi logic and gave her synthetic wings. (I love fantasy logic as well, it's just that I'm not good at using it) Seeing that the technologic theme is going on, I had Cloudsdale look more advanced in technology. Unlike pegasai, people can't walk on clouds. With this technology, they can fly; but they still need rest. A place they can still exercise their legs. So I drew large floating facilities (one for housing, one for training fliers, one for competitive sports, etc.) in the backgrounds. I only drew two, but you get the idea of this new high tech Cloudsdale.

It took me a while to understand atmospheric perspective and how it was used in nature. So I studied the sky and clouds outside and kept track of the gradient used and listed to colored pencils I may use.
