I fell suuuper behind (partly cuz I'm back in school studying Mandarin, but also the Taiwan weather keeps giving me a massive head cold that never fully goes away XD;;; ) good thing I can just turn this into Noirvember.

I hate it when you do Inktober, because I start running out of things to say real fast. There's only so many times I can say how much I love the designs and your mastery of lighting... not to mention simple skill with pen and marker before it gets a bit repetitive. Here I can at least also say something about the cool angle and that I love how you've used the blinds to frame this piece. Very atmospheric.

Yeah, I was somewhat familiar with the classic Noir motif of the hero (or villain) peering suspiciously out of some blinders, so I tried a reverse of that.

I personally like top-down since the light source is usually near or right above so the shading is fairly straightforward.
