Hey, hey, hey! It's Judy, frau Direktor of the PPB All-Starz (and otherwise ignored recurring character in Bakuten Shoot Beyblade/2002/G-Revolution). "Judy Tate" if you only follow the dub - actually! actually, that could work as her maiden name since Max's half-American-ness almost certainly comes from her side of the family. ^.0My inspiration, I think, came about a month ago. Last year I had only started watching Beyblade during the VForce/2002 season, where Judy was your typical kind, caring, child-spoiling scientist-mom-person. ^^ Then I finally got around to watching the American arc in mujirushi Beyblade and I was all like: "What. The. EFF." Ø__Ø;;; Season 1 Judy is something short of a cruel, hate-riddled, child-disowning sociopath. Hence teh pic!
(…and somehow, Max wuvs his mommy eeeither way. XD)
Yeah, I have an infinite obsession with minor/unloved characters (whether because the series gets little attention or people are just profoundly disregarding that specific character outright) ::…sane?:: ^_^;

I think Kyouju/Kenny had a crush on Judy because he really wanted a genius-supermodel mom. So did Emily apparently. (Max doesn't realize how envied he is, so long as Judy doesn't turn evil on him.) XD;;

Oh that? It's just a totally made-up tool to hold onto particularly sharp beyblade rings. It's actually based on this: [link] the HVLP spray gun. I had to use these things so often in school I just felt like doing a spoof on it, finally. ^~

Oh wow! That's awesome! Judy is one of my favorite characters! It's so nice to see art of her!!! Yeah... the American Tourny Judy in the first season was great! I've never seen her in V-Force >.>

Umm, yeah, Judy does not show up as often in VForce since there's no All Starz to coach .....or for that matter ANY of the other season one teams. @_@ It's like the writers simply decided, "hey, why not write it where alllll those characters are COMPLETELY ABSENT for one whole year and the characters who are present just act like they NEVER EXISTED?"
Honestly, had it not been for Hilary coming back in G-Rev, you could pretty much label VForce an 'alternate universe season' of Beyblade…

Hehe~ VForce is considered the Gundam X of Beyblade (not that I follow Gundam, just that the majority of people single that one out as the worst AU saga). But I like VForce because it's so full of gaping plot holes and zesty possibilities for fics and/or doujins. XÐ
(It's true! Maxie got it right with the blue shirt. His orange overalls were just nasty and him in the yellow shirt is kinda blinding. @_@)

Max has some weird fixation with the colors of green and orange. I mean they suit his personality but man! TONE DOWN ON THE COLORS LOL I like his G-rev better than frist season though *nod nod*
Gundam X looked interesting. I'm not much of a Gundam person myself (couldn't get into wing for the LIFE of me) but Gundam Seed got me hooked!
I want to see V-Force just to see what it's like

The round green device is a section of something called a beyblade- sort of a cross between toy tops and fighting robots. ^^ The purple-ish device is just something I whipped up from my own imagination. ::design freak-in-training::

(Mmyeah, I too pretend that Tate was actually just Judy's maiden name as well... we can make the best of the dub that way ^^)
I dunno how, but you make her look more suitable in her G-Rev!form than her Mujirushi, which I find impressive because I usually always prefer Mujirushi!Judy's looks to G-Rev!Judy's. XD But good job of making it REALLY seem like it's her headband-and-mic that's causing all that bad!mommy MIND CONTROL. And, ahaha... kudos on all that hard work you did coming up with the final pose. You have much more patience than me regarding THAT area, yeeeeeah.

The Japanese fen prove consistently enough for us mujirushi!Judy is *always* better. XD (Frankly I would have liked to have gotten this pic done before G-Rev premiered -you know, so I didn't feel like I had to, like, draw three versions of her at once ×_×) At this point I'm so antsy to get to work on my doujin I figure any opportunity I missed in previous Beyblade fanart will deeeefinitely go into that project o' dooom. ^.^
I think we all know Judy's headband-and-mic self is STILL lurking deep down inside. Because drawing POSSESSED EYES is fuuuuun. XÐ
