I love this so much. Despite the sad title, I can't help but be in awe at how comforting this painting also feels. The lighting and blue tones of the water give off such a relaxing yet lonely aura, the way the girl's hair and dress flows in the waters are lovely as well. Somehow, I am able to feel the sadness, loneliness, and a bit of hopelessness this girl's expression may give off. The way she decides to isolate and escape is beyond depressing but the way she hugs herself as she descends into the depths is both tragic yet touching in a way as well. All in all, this is a really lovely piece. I'm pleasantly surprised at your artworks as usual.
