Criminies this one took forever! ;A; But It was well worth the effort. I wanted to do this piece ever since I saw the final smash that was revealed for Megaman in the upcoming Smash Bros game. Seriously, Nintendo is showing the boys in blue more love with a single game than Capcom has in a nearly a decade.*Update: Forgot to shade a few details on X and Geo, my bad ^^'

If Nintendo's the one to take Capcom's plunge of Franchises,This is likely gonna happen. Mega Man,along with Capcom's other franchises,are not meant to be forgotten for long periods of time. So Hopefully Nintendo purchases Capcom's assets and franchises so they can make much better use of them. It will give their Wii U a major boost in sales.

That's Right! Nintendo is better than Playstation and Xbox combined IMO. Even if the franchises don't belong to them,Nintendo takes them into consideration. AΒ good game to see this is Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. Nintendo cares more about Sonic,Pac-Man,and Mega Man than their own owners(With Sonic Boom,Sega's making Sonic Speedy Long-Legs,Bandai Namco changed Pac-Man's appearance in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures(I don't mind too much),and Capcom just downright doesn't care about Mega Man) Nintendo has given Mega Man an epic moveset and Final Smash that embraces the history of his franchise,Nintendo gives Pac-Man the Pac-Man World design everyone Knows and Loves,and Nintendo has kept Sonic in his regular appearance. Nintendo dominates the Game Industry even with a system still struggling(Nintendo systems always had slow begginnings,but they improve sales as time flies,and the Wii U is no exception with great games like Hyrule Warriors,Super Smash Bros. for Wii U(Amiibo and Gamecube Controller compatibility),Splatoon,and Star Fox U coming out soon.)

Eh, I do play Xbox One, you know. So nothing against Microsoft from me. What I've got against Sony is their rabid fanbase who constantly talk crap about Xbox or Nintendo and boast that their system is superior in every way.
Do they have Mario? No.
Do they have Pokemon? No.
Do they have games with awesome, memorable music? In my opinion, no.
Also, I've got nothing against Sonic Boom of PM&TGA as well. I just seem to have a better taste in things and can handle change. Pac-Man using his classic design makes sense because of his retro-filled moveset. Sonic Boom is a different canon in the Sonic franchise so it doesn't replace the current Modern Sonic we have. I look forward to the TV show of that series. As for Mega Man, I will say that I hate Capcom for how they have been treating him lately. The ONLY good thing they have done with him recently is giving Sakurai permission to put him in Smash. I'm wondering how Mighty No. 9's gonna turn out since MM's creator wanted to make a Mega Man game, but he doesn't have the rights to what he had created many years ago.

Zero is cool and all but he isn't one of the versions of Mega man, that's the point. Capcom has been snubbing Mega man for years, opting to use others from the series whenever they had to represent the series in one of their games (and don't say they used him in Street fighter x Tekken, cuz that shit was embarrassing)Β
If they decide to add Zero into SSB, then by all means, more power to them. But the important thing is that the star of the series is finally getting the recognition he deserves.

Yes but Capcom nowadays treats the series poorly. You have good points but Nintendo's mostly doing the work for this guy in terms of game development. But mainly, "The Power of Nintendo" comes from the Smash Ball (which came from and is powered by Nintendo) which allows the Blue Bomber to gather 4 other Mega Men.

Compared to Sonic and Snake nowadays with their companies, that's hard to believe. Mega Man has a had a crappy 25th anniversary, 4 cancelled games and wasn't included in MvC3 while BBA Mega Man (who I find ok IMO), was greatly despised. Capcom barely does anything with him now ever since Inafune left. We got a lame iOS game, a promoted fan game, anniversary music and appearances in other games. Fans are making new games, not the company which is sad and not having it pretty good. With their FS, Sonic need the PON to activate the emeralds in the world of SSB and Snake used the SB to get limited time for an attack in the air. Everyone's FS requires the PON and MM is one of them b/c Capcom had no part in game development specifically FS.
