Description
Vinn Ratzell is the mongrel "Dungeon-buster" of Misuto, the only guild stationed in the city-state of rhodok. His title stems from his brawler class abilities being amplified by the use of his BOND (Biological Ordinance of Neurological Detriment), a biological trait native to all Mongrels that can either coat or create new limbs out of some type of carbon fiber. The limbs are typically greatly strenghtend and; in the case of the "Scorned Braces" BOND type, can break through solid stone. Vinn heavily relies on methods of amplifying his strength even further through the use of Brawler Skills and his assortment of Metal and Gravity spells contained within his spellbook. He is sometimes seen carrying a a twisted trident that he reffers to as "nico" or "brother".
Vinn's own BOND can be described as a Beetle(or centipede)-like shell that can coat his arms and legs. Most "Scorned Braces" users cannot coat more than their arms.

Vinn ican be described abrasive, enjoys joking with others, will oftentimes seem standoffish or odd until he gets to know someone and will change depending on who these people are despite this he is giving to an extreme flaw to anyone who he considers connected to him. Doesn't want to bother others with how he feels and will try to hide how he feels about those he cares for or if he has something wrong he will try and keep it all to himself, also not good at expressing emotions especially affection,he still wants it but kinda freezes up, mild alcoholic . The quickest way to Vinn’s heart is through food or any sort of gift that needs thought. Prone to depression caused by existential dread of being forgotten or used by his friends, when these moments hit he tries not to show it but ends up becoming distant and quiet while around others.
Avoids eating flesh as much as possible without losing his powers/cannibalizing himself.

As mentioned earlier, he calls his trident "Brother." This is not a symptom of some sort of madness, as he has carried the fragments of his younger brother's "Foul Tendrils" type BOND as a memento throughout his travels. Nico's BOND was likely a set of 3 tails, each ending with a razor-sharp stinger. Vinn cherished these remains of his younger brother, carrying them as a sort of knife initially. Though the he has kept the weapon away from most he allowed it to be modified into a trident by an Azurite blacksmith, who noted that the material seemed to be alive and breathing as he touched it.... it almost seemed happy to be used..
The trident carries the same ability as his brother's BOND, the ability to drain the life force of whatever it cuts (or pierces, in the case of the trident) and can transfer the life into others.

The use of BOND remnants from dead Mongrels lies in a moral grey area of blacksmithing. Although Mongrels are universally deemed as monsters or affronts to nature and using their BONDs in crafting can often result in weaponry comparable in strength to many types of Magic Tools, the practice of selling or using BONDs is generally frowned upon. The technique of merging BOND Remnants into weapons and armor was one of many attempts to create a cheaper alternative to the people of Sigur's creation of Relics through the use of Elder Resources (of course, BOND remnant integration is a fairly new practice). Unlike relics, weapons that are created using BONDs are far closer to "alive", and still yearns for the taste of flesh long after the Mongrel's demise.
BOND Remnants (or "severed BONDs") sell for quite a high price due to their utility.
