I have been looking trough pages of STA project of mine and I realized a few issues with it. First problem that I had from the time I posted the original cover of the first Issue was that I didn't liked the look of the first cover, it was supposed to me a homage of cover of now canceled comic of mine called Shuttered World , my issues with it were that the cover for STA felt empty, also more observant readers can notice that the ship/station from which Krystal is observing Terra is not her ship (Carpet and Wall collocations are wrong). And so I decided to remake the entire cover page to something better. But before I did that I have been searching the internet of old webcomices I used to read long ago and I have found very very old page named Adopt -a- Censorship Panda , an artist named Amber created this as a sort of better looking variant of a black box with rating in it. And this page made me thinking: maybe I can dust of this old idea and use it to rank pages of my project and then whole individual Issues (I could use some feedback if it is a good idea to use this Pandas on the pages in the future). Anyways, new page is obviously inspired transition from my works named Into the Water and Into the Water Remake where in remake Krystal sister Jade showed in image (I hope I didn't flex too much with the workerbees XD).
Do not worry, I am still working on STA so no project is NOT in hiatus or canceled. I have a lots of ideas for future issues to come...what I can reveal right now is that STA will be episodic in nature, I want to have 50 pages per Issue and with possibility of 100 pages per large issue (Star Trek did some 2 parters in its runtime too, so why keep this tradition on small screen only). Unlike in my previous projects this time I decided to actually write down the script (well more like a guideline then a script) for STA...so I will not lose track of what I ma actually making this comic about (this was actually a reason why I stopped working on projects in past, I simply forgot what the story was about or bloated the lore with too much ideas....well not anymore). Right now I have "script" written for 2 Issues and next 8 Issues in concept stage so next 10 issues are secured. I have a lot more ideas after that but I am not sure if I will be able to implement them all, since I don't have 3D models I would need for that. Who knows maybe one day I get aid of some 3D artist in future.
Now to the 2nd problem I found with my project...during the "tour" around the web comic archives I find out that navigation among the comic pages can be an issue if done incorrectly. here on DA it can be mitigated by the overall gallery tab but when comic gets to certain page count, its then harder to navigate trough the pages, when somebody needs to scroll down trough 350 pages, only to find the page where he stopped, so I decided to work on some navigation in description in page description to all upcoming and existing pages....lets hope this will work.
