Wow, this is the kind of photo that I have been trying to catch since I got my new camera half a year ago. *sighs* Sadly I only once so far even saw our usual prey birds while I had a camera. I did take two relatively nice pictures then, but hey are nothing against yours. The light is great, you can see a lot of detail, you have frozen it well in its flight and and it's sharp and clear. Really well done.
If I may ask, how much did you pay for your objective lense? I have 200 mm so far and I am planing to buy a 400 mm since looking at your picture really proves to me it would be worth it. Sadly I have the feeling it's not exactly cheap, if one wants a good lense.
