Believe me, you need to be able to cheat if you want to work with 3D it's all we do at school... cheat cheat cheat! You know the commercial with all the grass? You should see how it looked before I adjusted it in post-processing... horrible! We also used a very cheap rendering system to save time (around 20s per frame), but with very little visible difference

Haha. I was wondering how I should ask you about the grass in that commercial! That's weird. only 20s per frame?! That's crazy talk! How on earth did you manage it? Thank you for taking the time to look through my gallery

Yeah, or 10-40s depending on which layer (we used a ton of them)... how did we manage? Maya Software Renderer one light with simple Depth Map Shadows which take nothing to calculate. No fancy pants stuff at all. The textures are camera mapped and require no lighting at all. They light themselves up; [link] And no problem, it's the least I could do since you looked through my gallery Oh and thanks for the add

ooh, love the shadows on the balloon. Awesome colour and cartoon (in a good way) feel to it. It comes to life. I almost think it deserves a 2d colourful background, something kind of like Marioland to get it grooving
