Description Obscenasith, The Impaler. Little is known about it, save for the fact that where ever it roams large floating pointed obelisks, strung with humans decorated upon the spikes, are left in its wake. The purpose of the dark ritual is unknown, but monsters and beasts are said to be drawn to those edifices. Any who attempt to save those pinned to the obelisks are said to be driven mad by visions that flood into their mind of places unseen and terrors unknown.

I disagree... I'd say this is more at home in Bloodborne or Dark Souls. It fits the darker atmosphere much better there.

Thanks Sidran! I love the Phyrexian's designs, but they were not in the forefront of my mind when I was painting this image. Funny how inspiration of things you love finds its way into your work one way or another.

Part of the ambiguous lore . I like to leave some things unanswered and let the viewer come up with their own conclusions a-la Dark Souls.
