I like how long it is. We get to see it change over from one pattern to another one. Nice clean colors. 
The purple background is a nice touch. Was it a deliberate choice?

1000 thanks, Jhoy. I spend as much time choosing my colour palette as I do finding fractals...actually sometimes more. That being said, the background colour was not deliberate, per se, but chosen for it's negative space contrast, once I discovered this palette that used it. Hope that makes sense!

A bit. I don't use this fractal program, so I don't know how it works.
But in the program that would most likely make this kind of fractal, for me, I would have to pick the background color. But to get the clean, strong fractal that you have, I would need another software and I still get to pick my colors, but they are worked a bit differently.
