Prob with a brighter color mixed in there would be that the color would draw up all the attention and change the complete hierarchy of the design. Next one will be brighter again

I feel as though this is missing something. I feel as though there needs to be some more modern elements. The modern elements already in there don't seem to jive well with retro elements.
