Description Lots of questions came out about this shot since it was selected as a DD and got some extra attention.
We were up there for a bit more than four hours, and by the time we passed the second hour we just lost ourselves. For those of you who have been to the Samatai part of the Great Wall, you should know what I am talking about.
We did not put much of efforts to come out with this shot, it was one of those on the fly shots as much as it looks like a heavily staged one.

Gosh! I was climbing the wall last weekend and I had this image in my mind, but I couldn't remember where I saw it. I wanted a picture just like it, but I couldn't because 1) the wall was too crowded, and 2) it was slanted and I was afraid to fall if I stood up. I did it anyway, but it is nothing in comparison to urs!!

Wow! I envy you with greens.. I so would love to go there again..
After spending hours on the wall, i got used on the height and it seemed so normal to be standing up there.. I think being up there on the wall is a great achievement by itself, so good for you and keep up the adventurous spirit!

Cannot believe that u liked the food!!! Did u check my album about the food there?!
I liked Shanghai more than Beijing. If u ever get to go there again, make sure u visit suzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, and changzhou (this is where I stayed). Those places are not as wild as the two major cities, but the temples and gardens there are wonderful and full of history.

i am not big on food in general, i always prefer veggie and chicken over red meat.. and the lighter the better.. but when it comes to exotic food, it's no longer about eating but about experimenting

like i won't be eating worms to get full

i will take a note of them places.. in case i turned out to be lucky and visit China again

all are nice, but when it comes to china it's a different world, different rules, different food.. different everything. some went and didn't like it, i loved it.. if you're into culture, you'll love it..
