Chara-design of Rez, a.k.a. the Media Dimension Conspirator

Among the questions I was asked about Rez'design in CBNS, the main ones were if I would give him legs and a human form. As you can see, I stayed really close to his original design, without any leg. I would say Rez's design here is a kind of "semi-humanization" - no bad pun intended - by the fact I balanced the proportions of his head and his body in order to give him humanized proportions. The only advantage by drawing Rez is that he only has one expression, but in general cybernetic stuffs are definitely NOT my cup of tea >_<". I had some ideas in order to diversify his attack range.

Lord of the Media Dimension, Rez belongs to the Conspirator group led by N.Tropy. Behind his many monitors, he is in charge of watching the Travelers' progression. As a TV-propaganda specialist, he perfectly knows all its subtleties, and is the main responsible of the mess implemented in Parappa's hometown. His main essense being the Noise Energy, Rez is able to generate force fields, but also to "summon" deadly features and creatures from movies to support him in battle. Megalomaniac, misanthropist and ruthless, Rez has a deep contempt for the Humanity which, according to him, deserves nothing but being brainwashed and massively mind-controlled.

The first thing he ever wanted to know about N.Tropy, was whether he had two hearts, or not.

Attacks:

Academic Countdown: a countdown from 5 to 0 appears on TV' screens. Once this countdown reaches 0, the TV explodes.

Epileptic Lasers: shoots laser-beams from his eyes

Subliminal Missiles: an upgraded version of his usual missiles. They are now subliminals, that is to say barely visible with the naked eye (1/24th of one second)

Screen-Test Shield: generates a large force field, mainly effective against magic/elemental assaults (not that effective against physical assaults)

Digital Restoration: can recover from an attack thanks to the Noise Energy (the recover speed depends on the gravity of the damage)

Media Blitz: one direct punch

Media Lynching: multiple direct punches

Breaking News: [counter-attack] interrupts an opponent's assault/spell with an upercut

Wrong Match-Cut: while Rez is about to strike head-on, he suddenly teleports himself to appear in his opponents' dead angle to hit them.

Sitcom Harassment: [hallucination] his opponents suddenly hear sitcom laughers in their head. Make them lose their concentration.
Political Correctness: [pressure] the opponents' strength, attack and precision considerably decrease.
Piracy: copies the latest attack/spell realised by the opponents, insofar as he can copy it (can't copy transformations or kicks). The copied attack is not as powerful as the original one though.

Anvil of Doom: [trap from above] summons a giant anvil above his opponents's head.

The Birds: [diversion] summons insane birds, which will rush on the opponent to attack them.

The Slayer Trio: summons Max, Cujo and Baxter, three killer dogs who would immediately chase Rez' opponents.

Sand Worm: summons a soul eater sand-worm. Effective on undead opponents.

Jaws: summons a man-eater giant white shark.

Clockwork-o-Rage: Rez enters in a state of violent rage. His speed and power drastically increase, at the cost of a loss of precision.
