Description
This piece already appeared as a part of a New Year greeting card I made about two months ago [link] , but it always seemed less good-looking to me together with the written text, so I decided to upload a version of the drawing only, and remove the previous one from the displayed deviations. I preferred not to delete the second one for two reasons: First, some people already added it to their favourites and I don't want to bother them, and secondly because it does have a holiday meaning and can be used for its original purpose.Related content

sketching an apple with pencils is not the right technique though. it changes the apple's texture.

We did this in school, but using charcoal. It's really fun to do! But quite messy.

That apple is extremely realistic looking! Im impressed. You've definately mastered spherical shapes, thats for certain. And the bee comb thingy, the honey stick dealio is very realistic as well.

The details on this is very well done! The colors go together very well, the background is a bit distracting though. The shading is wonderful as well. Good job on making this look realistic.
