Forgive me, I happen to like things like that. I suppose, to the casual eye, they do seem scary. I just don't think of that first when I see them, perhaps because, as I said, that is my style, if you will, and it seems more normal to me than anything.
But to me, Jack seems more intimidating with those big, black voids rather than the bloodred irises. I guess it's just me, but any way you draw him, he is quite the character.
