Done! Sweet mother of pearl it's finally done. OTL Oh lawdy lawd. My hand, she weeps.

Anyway, I woke up last week with this crazy idea of creating fantasy AU designs for myself (Grace) and my friend ~ArsenicInYourPudding (Macy). Probably because I've been reading a lot of Marvel comics lately and superheros are awesome. BUT then I thought "hey, it could be a Beyfantasy OC thing", and then this happened.

Grace the witch.
Turns out, living in a temperate rainforest has more perks than moderate weather. Something about this overgrown environment granted her the power to control and manipulate plant life; anything from drawing flowers out of the dirt to having huge gnarled roots shoot up and attack opponents. On top of that, she's gotten quiet good at healing spells. Walking over earth in bare feet makes the grass grow around her. Despite these powers, Grace hasn't really bothered to build any upper-body strength, so her physical attacks are rather ineffective. If an attack gets through her magic, and she can't outrun it with her speed, her defense is also relatively poor.

Skills:
Race (a burst of speed that wears down after about three minutes--usually used for escape or dodging)
Tumble (used for dodging in a fight, but also helpful when running through an overgrown forest)
Heal Pulse (a wave of healing energy that reduces damage done to herself and teammates)
Miracle Grow (a frenzy of plantgrowth spread out over a larger area--slows down opponent, makes things pretty)
Root Shoot (thick roots shoot out of the earth and collide or entangle opponent--most common attack)
Old Growth (a spell that requires most of her magic reserve--enchants trees to aid her in a fight, or shield her as she flees)

Macy the mage-in-training.
Nothing says "badass" quite like a giant bewitched hammer and a wild-west attitude. Macy has a hammer for physical attacks, with a spell carved into it that allows her to hold up the impressive weight. Lately, though, she's started teaching herself some spells. Macy's goal is to become a mage, at some point... In the long run. You know, half the fun is getting there, right? When her spell casting doesn't work, she uses her hammer as a backup, but missing isn't much of an option--her speed and defense are both on the lower-end, so accuracy is very important. Thankfully, a direct hit from from her hammer can send a foe flying.

Skills:
Counter (a block with her hammer, usually by aiming a minor attack at the opponent's oncoming weapon)
Sharp Tongue (a cruel, witty comment or two used to throw off her opponent and make them feel bad about themselves)
Plotstorm (a series of short spells that Macy has memorized, strung together to create a larger attack)
Withdraw (temporarily boosts defense to strength 4 with the use of magic--lasts three turns)
Ballpark (a violent 360 degree hammer swing with almost no accuracy, with the hopes of landing a hit on whatever is nearby)

So yeah! Creating all those skills was super fun. :U
