Description As I mentioned in a journal, I really didn't like how Nelvana made Trefoil. They messed up her attitude and her looks.
So here I made a redesign of her.

I know the color choice isn't the best but it's better than that pink disaster they made her wear. In the book she suggested the long poles used to erect tents would make good pikes, so I gave her something of a pike.

I myself liked Trefoil although she wasn't mentioned much. In my opinion, she was awesome unlike Celandine who was such a pansy.

Yeah, I Trefoil’s wardrobe in the cartoon was WAY too tacky. This makes her more like a warrior. Yeah, Celandine was a bit of a pansy, however, she did get somewhat brave towards the end of the book when Badrang had the Fur and Freedom Fighters pinned down.Β

It's been years since i last saw Martin the Warrior. I think i was 8, anyway I just looked up Trefoil's character design from the cartoon and gagged. She looks horrible! I prefer the design you made. Her expression is awesome, her clothes much more fitting and just the way she looks ready to kick ass is awesome. I miss the Redwall series, i feel old now.

I agree, the Nelvana version isn't half as good as the one you thought up.

WOW, that is AWESOME! I love it! Though it wasn't what I expected it certainly doesn't disappoint!

She looks gorgeous, very squirrellike! Only critique would be to make her tail bushier. Heh heh, now THAT is how she should've been drawn in the TV series! She was so weird in the show (although the 'flirty' moment she shared with Felldoh was kinda cute).
