Description
Another experiment about coloring without inking the line art. It's a quite old work, almost two months, but I've always forgotten to post it until now
Another secondary character, Duma (which is the most clichè name ever for a cheetah-like character. It means "Cheetah" in Swahili, exactely like Simba means "lion". Buuut I love how it sounds, short and easy to remember
). Not much to say, he's an assassin, mercenary, thief or whatever you pay him for. Very nasty guy.
Made with watercolor, acrylic and pencils... I don't like very much how the sky turned out but I'm super-happy for the rocks. The paper folds left some darker line, also. XD Any suggestion or critique is more than welcome ^^

I love the coloring on the rocks. Although, to be honest, I'm not sure if I like the sky either. It seems like an unnatural mix of blue and orange. Do you know what I mean? 
But on the plus side, assassin characters are always fun. ^_^

This looks awesome, and I love how you drew/painted in all the textures! The rocks, the clothes and the mountains all look so believable, and I like how you used the acrylic paint to give the sky a smooth look. The combination of blue and orange that you used for this piece is very exciting too!

His name remembers me the name of the golden retiever I used to have at home: her name was "Duna" (dune in english), because she was like one of them when layed on the floor... (I don't know why should that matter).
And what can I say? You have impressed me again. I love how you draw anthros (expecially cats, I luv them :3 ). But this pose... It's too... too... calm and ready (to fight) at the same time... (I mean, it's interesting. Sorry if I didn't explained again

I adore the warm color scheme here (or well mostly warm, adding of that blue is refreshing) but most of all my favorite thing in this picture is the lighting
Also I agree with you on the rock texture, I absolutely love it!!! and what you said about the sky.. while i do like the colors, there is something about it.. you used acrylics on the sky? if so it might be that it looks a tad bit too heavy and so stands out too much considering the rocks are element that are closer to the viewer. But if you didn't use acrylics maybe the blue is just slightly too dark so it makes it harder to stay 'behind the rocks'
btw while I am not too familiar with your chars yet I somehow saw that this char wasn't the same as your main one, (someone seemed to be confused about your chars in the comments?) the Enorach guy.. there is just something about him that makes him look more 'nice guy'compared to this Duma guy

Indeed, that was my mistake... it looks too heavy. I still don't know how to use acrylics well and after the 10th layer I was fed up with it XD I'll try to do better the next time.

At first glance, one could get confussed with your main character Enorach because of how feline characters are alike to each other. Or maybe it is me as a bad
physiognomist? XD (yes, I later noticed this guy's face marks and eye colors).
Your experiment works really well, I like the result a lot... is it hard for you to do pics this way?

Yeah, since the drawing is quite small and it's not inked I had problems with the face details
