I'm sorry to hear that. Kemeko did post on the site about what happened, and my first thought was to check here and see if there was another side to the story, which there was. :3

I think what happened here was a misunderstanding based on the language barrier, however, I also think that there may have been some overreacting on both sides. But, if you feel like it's best that you go, then I won't stop you, and I also wish you good luck with what you get up to. I'm sorry I was so excite, couldn't help it. xD Whelp, looking between (since I still have some of your other stuff) I think with your older stuff you gave more exposition as to what was going on, where in this one, it started out with Link already pretty much in that situation. There was also more detail/description of the surrounding area and whatever else in the other ones, this one cut to the chase. And there certainly wasn't as much foreplay either, lol. So, as far as getting straight to the point, this one was better, because it went right into it a bit faster, and focused more on "HEY GUYS THIS IS WHAT'S HAPPENING THEREFORE THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART". The other ones were better in the detailed "this is happening right in front of you and it's clearer to see in your mind" way. :3 I still love et. <3 Since the last time I've read anything of yours, there's been a shift in your writing style, methinks. A shift for the better, definitely. (Although more detail wouldn't hurt so much. > w > )

Lol I dropped the purple prose, pretty much. Though I do miss being able to write decent descriptions, which I can't seem to do anymore to save my life. I think part of the reason my writing's changed the way it has is the fact that what writing Ihave done recently has been more focused on action scenes [using Nick or Andrea], which I write as fast-paced and concise. You don't describe in detail the mechanism of the gun, because it takes people out of the action; the reader just needs to know that a bullet's been fired and the consequences of it.

And lol, yeah, dropped the foreplay and just went straight for it. Because fuck it, like Dark cares. He's there more for himself, anyways, lol. I'm bored and contemplating writing moar, but I don't have any creativity left, lol.

Well see, that makes it work! So yes, it's still great. Sorry to burst your bubble, lol. And as for decent descriptions, they aren't horrendously crucial to things unless it's something vague and the reader might need a little more information. For someone who obviously knew what the hey hey was going on, and knows what the darn poe-house and stuff looks like, it's kind of pointless to start going into detail about every little thing, no? Original worlds on the other hand do kind of require something, even if it's just going along the lines of "this is a generic cityscape and there are large buildings and small buildings and you should get the point now". I think you're still fine with that. :3

No bubble-bursting done. And yeah, sometimes I forget to describe shit simply because I already know what it looks like/my audience does, so I tend to cut stuff out. I didn't even think of describing the guardhouse because I knew the only people reading it would know it, lol. Bad habit of mine. I think that's why I'm a better artist than I am a writer; it's easier for me just to show people these things instead of trying to describe them.

Haha, yeah, I read over my older stuff after I wrote "Poes" and I was like "well, I still write Dark exactly the same." Really, I'm just better with writing dominating characters like that. Like, I could never write fluff. I was thinking about it, and I just can't make it happen. what I wrote had already played out in my head before, but I try to think of fluff and my brain just kind of goes "no."

Lol. I remember when I was still rping with Zack, he told me that I should never be afraid to describe things. "Always assume that the reader knows nothing." or something like that. I don't really remember exactly, that was a long time ago and I still haven't heard anything from him at all. Meh. I know writing is supposed to "show, don't tell", but it's really hard. Much easier with drawing, I agree.

Yes, Dark hasn't changed. Which is good, because I really really really liked your Dark. I have trouble with anything other than fluff, lol. Me and fluff works well, but I always feel like I'm screwing up if I go farther, or I feel like it's just so generic that it's going badly. >.<

I've heard the same advice, but it still slips my mind to do so. Buuuut my stuff doesn't usually make it into the public eyes, soooo *whistles* i plan on making a comic eventually anyways. If anything, I should work more on dialog, since that's necessary.

Yeah, smutty things can be tricky to write. It's easy for them to end up being repetitive and dull. And that's if you don't fall into the purple prose trap, but at least purple prose can be hilarious.

I always feel like if I try to write fluff it's going to turn out waaaaay too sweet. If people knew how cutesy Kage and I got behind closed doors it'd rot their teeth out, lol. hell, it can be hard to write out couple interactions without them sounding overly-sappy/obnoxious.

Well, I mean, we're changing most of the events that led up to that point, meaning that whatever we were doing at the time wouldn't happen, or at least not the same way it would've before. We're just working on the retcon and changing what we have into script format so I can turn it into a comic one day.

More like we're re-writing stuff so that it makes more sense. Before we kept the RPs going by twisting logic in really weird ways just so we wouldn't have to start writing. We're going back and fixing things up so that it'll work better, while trying to keep most of the bigger themes intact. It's gonna be a hell of a lot of work.

Yeah, I've been wanting to make comics out of these stories for ages, but I never bothered because i suck at making comics. There's classes for that at AAU, though, so I'll take them. Hopefully by the time I have my BFA-ILL I'll be able to make something good.
