shoulder's doing better. i learned ch'in na when i was younger, and the techniques of dislocation are accompanied by the techniques of re-setting. you have to learn both halves of the system to learn it properly. part of the teaching philosophy includes being able to reverse what you've done. using what i learned , i'm already nearly a week ahead in rehabbing my shoulder over what my dr will expect when i see him tuesday. for instance, i'm typing this lefty, with only slight pain , and have about 60% motion back in the shoulder already. aches constantly, but hey, what else would you expect, right?

You may want to consider adding fish oil and chondroitan (sp?) to your diet for about a month to help with the cartilage healing.

i've got the chondroitin already. i was diagnosed with degenerative cartilage disorder from physical abuse of the cartilage when i was 14... to much weight-lifting and full impact martial arts. didn't find out there are tricks to breaking boards until 3 years ago. i used to be able to kick through two 2x4s... now my hips down to my ankles have shot cartilage , i have no arches, and i've got osteo-arthritis nearly everywhere. eh. that's life.
