It won't even start up right it just instantly starts burning up and goes to a black screen. I thought oh maybe I'm being impatient so I turned it on went out for 4 hours came back and still back screen D: it just gets stuck on like that

It sounds like overheating to me, allright. You have probably already placed it up from the table level for vents to get air, right? And cleaned it occasionally compressed air? ( Something that I never remember to do. ) Anyway, best thing would be to take it to get some maintenance.

My brother is a computer nerd so he knows about this kind of thing. But he won't even look at it. He just says buy a new one.
So I have 3 options. 1 bend over and buy a new laptop 2bribe him to take a look at it 3black mail him To take a look at it
