just went a little further in your gallery, and I withdraw my statement. Your books aren't beautiful--They're crazy-amazing-awesome-gorgeous-drop-a-piano-on-my-head-as-a-violin-plays-mournfully fantastic!

great stuff, I was looking at your box of books for the artisan crafts club. very interesting.
I took a book arts class during my bfa years, it was a very enlightening class.
I should post some of the books I made.

I love your book binding skills. Can you tell me where you learned how to do all that?

thanks~ i started with a book called Book Arts (which can be found on amazon, here: [link] d_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1221345726&sr=8-1 ) but the best place online to start is the Book Arts Web ( [link] ). they have a tutorial section, as well as a reference section, which lists other useful books. keith smith's books are basically the gold standard as far as binding is concerned, and as proud owner of three of them, i can definitely recommend them. (^_^)
