I'm actually trying out a few different ones, namely Paint tool Sai, Corel Painter and Photoshop... I still can't decide which I like the best. And that Hichi piece was drawn completely in Photoshop.

Yeah, working in Photoshop is fun, even if I sometimes feel like there are just too many different functions I don't need Lately I tend to stick to painting in either Sai or Painter and then just making the final changes, like tweaking the colours in Photoshop. Having the choice of adding custom brushes in PS is still nice tho ^^

I just got photoshop- so I literally have no idea how to use it x_x the main program I use(d) was Clip Paint Studio (which was all in Japanese and a pain to remember where everything was) but I just had a quick browse through PS and its as overwhelming (too many functions) as I remembered it to be -w-, but I will definitely download the brushes, they look really good O: unfortunately I have a mac and so Sai isn't compatible (to my knowledge >.>) do you find ps easy to use?

Yeah, PS tends to give people that feeling, I rembember I was literally terrified of the interface; but when you get accustomed to it it's quite easy and convenient to use, really. And yeah, I think I find PS the easiest to use of them all, that's probably just because I've been using it for a few years already tho. I think that if you just take a few hours to look through the program, try out a few things - especially how do the brushes work, etc. it'll help a lot; the program is not as difficult to navigate as it seems at first ^w^
