Or Jay could somehow be a demon, no wait, fallen angel? And has been stripped of his light form or whatever so now he's just a ball of shadow/dark? And traveling around and mimicking everything he sees cause he doesn't know, he also mirrors things as well. Maybe he's like cursed by a demon instead like long time ago Jayke's ancestors were cursed that every like 7 generation would have a child that have no soul and replacing it was a mirror. OH maybe it's someone from Nat's species. Maybe he's cursed to be a mirror so that he has to have a demon with him and must be a "slave" to the demon in order to live (by gaining the emotions of the demon). The curse could have like faded away over the years but when Nat hit puberty and his demonic side came out it reactivated the curse again!! OH AND NOW NAT AND JAYKE HAVE TO TRY AND STOP THE CURSE SO THAT JAYKE DOESN'T FALL TO PIECES AND DIE OR SOMETHING!!
