Yeah.
But this piece actually struck a cord with me regarding Garent's (the man in the picture) relationship with Valeria. Comparing his appearance in this to his appearance to when he's older kinda made me think of this. In the time between the loss of some of his closest friends and him meeting/saving Valeria, he was in a slump and trying to recover, but not doing too great at it. He's disheveled, ragged, and a little rough around the edges.

But then he saves and takes Valeria in. And she basically gives him a new purpose, as a father-figure and mentor to her. This gives him a new source of joy and warmth in his life. Something that he'd been searching for up to that point.

Essentially, what I'm saying is this: Garnet saving Valeria basically paved the way so that she could save him in turn. Which makes me love their relationship even more.
