dam dude your comic work is so clean. I just started doing my first comic for thought bubble. Its taking me ages, I definatly dont have the experience to rattle out stuff like yours. any tips? besides practice lol.... Im also very aware theres no blacks on my comic so far...

Hey James, thanks for your kind words! Glad to hear you'll be attending Thought Bubble this year, I'll be there too after hearing so many good things about the show.
As for any tips, well, spotting blacks is very important as it fixes everyone and everything on space and creates depth, but I'd say don't over-think it and just go with what feels natural for you. Blacks will also vary from style to style, so don't worry to much and I think your eye will start telling you when they're necessary and when they're not.

Thanks very much, hopefully I'll settle into a style with it soon. Just not used to blocking black on my art yet. But I'll have a play with a few panels, try and get a feel for what works. But thanks for the advice, and the fav! I'll let you know how I get on
