pretty subjective regarding outcomes.Β the writer determines victor.Β given we are talking OC's I would assume most creators would have theirs come out on top in any such confrontation.Β
...to answer the question though, no.Β I have not participated in any "battles."

You are correct when creators would have their OC win. Perhaps there should be a voting system so it would be fair to all participants.

depends on how objective your trying to be.Β given voting is subjective of the viewer it would basically be a battle of who looks the coolest.Β it would probably be best to have some sort of statline to base such decisions off of versus just looks and a general description.Β with this in place some battles would be over pretty quickly as one could go off the base line stats.Β others would be a bit more difficult if statlines were relatively the same..or countered one another well.Β
at some point though...it's all a matter of subjection.Β personally I could take my OC's and face them up against known heroes/villains of the marvel and DC universes and have no problem stating they would loose, or win,Β in a fight against X person...others would be a bit more difficult though and I would have to say they would be a draw.Β
Citenik my OC is a flying brick...superstrong (starting strength can lift around 50tons), resistance to damage, fly, can survive in space without a suit for roughly an hour, his major power is that of the ability to absorb kinetic energy and covert it to strength.Β some example of him versus two powerhouses:
example of a draw: Citenik versus the Hulk.
example of a loss: superman (Supes supervison would win the day for him, if he stayed physical it would be a draw more than likely)
