I got so much better from the first time you found me, eh? I hope to get better somewhere along the way. You should look in my favorites for KLSADAKO. Those pictures he's done are with graphite as well. They aren't black and white photographs, mon ami. That's pure skill-age with the pencils.

anyway, yeah, I am trying to make a manga... but i can't wait to see yours though! Even though you only take photos of your work, they already look so professional. Are you working as an assistant to a mangaka right now, or have already done so in the past? I saw your background work with screentone - the perspective was impeccable and the contrast of the shadows is just awesome!

Unlike a lot of to-be mangaka's here on dA, I don't use much CG screentone - just deleter, i.c. and even maxon's version, as much as possible... i mean, you used traditional screentone for your german town piece, am i right? If so, traditional screentone using artists aren't as rare here on deviantart as I thought we were. Anyway, this is getting long lol sorry

But yeah, lastly and on a more serious note, would you like to do a collaboration piece (a one shot story, illustration or even a doujin - whichever you might prefer) in the future? I usually don't ask to, but this is a rare case. You don't have to, but I would very much appreciate it.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm so busy at the moment, because I have to create a portfolio right now and it takes much more time as I thought....
So that's the problem about a collaboration, too. I basically don't think I'll have enough time to do that, at least not at the moment. Sorry! But I really appreciate that you asked me!! Thanks!
I haven't worked as assistent yet, but since I'm going to a manga-school in Japan I think I have the skills to become an assistent, it's just that it's very hard for a foreigner here. Even if you speak fluent Japanese the people over here prefer the "common assistents", that means Japanese people... But I've already created a lot of mangas that I introduce to some publishers here, but it didn't work out yet. I'll hang on!
And about your question about what kind of tone I use... Of course traditional! Actually all my works are done traditionally, because I like it that way. But the screen tone is expensive, isn't it...?!
