*Vance notices that Dash seems to be a kind of mist: he must be speaking to him from whatever Dash's dimension considers heaven*

Dash: "It's been... it's been a very long ti-time... A very long time..." Dash shakes Vance's paw... "I've been reunited with my wife, since I've seen you last... A very long time... Time flows differently between dimensions, I suppose? I don't know... There are so many things I don't know..." He seems on the verge of tears

Vance smiles a little, breaking his slightly serious visage. "I am glad you two have been reunited, it is always good to be reunited with those you love. I guess that time does flow differently, for myself it has been but 30 years. My race has started to come out again, though I am too old for most. Trust me Dash, no matter how much we know there is always more we don't know, I have dedicated my life since we met to finding out more about our world and I still have not found everything." Vance suddenly hugs Dash then releases him "I have missed you my friend, I am glad we are able to talk again."

*Vance arrives where he left so long ago, in the capital of what used to be the Vulpine kingdom. There is no one around this sunny day, in this grassland... not even wild, hooved animals.*

*A huge, dark green spire, reaching half a mile up into the heavens, can be seen in the distance. It looks like a tower, almost, but bends slightly at its tip. It is lit up all the way to the top...*

*The spire dwarfs the hills around it. As Vance gets closer, he notices that the spire ripples in the wind, but sees no signs of civilized life... except insects making intricate patterns in their little paths in the dirt and in the air around him.*

Vance starts running towards the spire, not bothering to keep out of sight of anyone, when he gets close to the tower he pulls out a staff from his coat, slams it into the ground and lights the tip on fire, the staff being made of a material that does not burn so it can be relight and re used

Bug: "Good. But, where you from? What is you?"

*The building is temperate. He can see it is a self-lit tower made out of a material that is somehow natural, and somehow not. It still ripples slightly in the wind, near the top. The opening is a self-lit tunnel that Vance can see turns into a staircase in a few dozen feet in.*

*The bug seems... nervous, somehow...*

Vance looks at the Bug "I am Vance and I am from a long way away and a time long passed, may I ask as to where I am? Last I was here this was where the capital for the Vulpine Kingdom, however it appears that it is no more." Looks at the entrances "Hmm, What is the Spire? I have never seen such a building"

Rose: "We found what the titan worm -- spoken of! We found them! The -- crystals... Do not let them find us --"
