I see you already crochet, so amigurumi should be really easy for you!
Unlike me who have no patience for crocheting actual useful things (or even bigger amigurumi) bc I get bored too easily

I get bored partway through my projects, too XD If I can't finish it in one sitting, I usually don't want to do it!
I think that what looks complicated to me is how tiny the pieces are. It seems like it would be a pain to put it all together. Was that ever difficult when you started?
Variety hahaha. That's a nice way to put it! ^^ I go through hobbies at lightning speed

Oh, assembling is my least favourite part. It's really not difficult at all, just tedious (for me anyway). I prefer patterns with little to no assembly :-P
I think it's really nice that you get back around to it though. I usually get interested in something, buys more tools/material than I'll ever need, then lose interest and never touch them again ><
