yea... I've not forgotten to check your gallery here in -- I must say --- Renard the fox almost got me fooled... - you are crazy creative... -- and what's up with the "sideburn"?

Anyway-- I just researched Mr. Cassandre... -- I googled him of course... thanks for introducing me to him...he's sort of a Mr. Paul Rand back here... I guess the world owe this particular style of font from Mr. Cassandre... and I thank you and for introducing me and in educating me (sort of )to the valuable contribution of Mr. Cassandre...

I really am not trained in art at all so, I'm afraid I can not really contribute at all in your project...

Btw, your effort to pay tribute to Mr. Cassandre is really praiseworthy... Keep on creating and I'll stop-by and check your gallery and blog every so often Now, I must go get some rest --- for tomorrow is going to be a loooooong and busy day...

Yeah R'nard is quite adventurous. Now he come back to Paris to an exposition in November. I'll go to see him.

And girls ohhh girls with sideburns (cool word in english but french word is so cool : rouflaquettes) I love the fashion statement.

P.S.

I tried to find a biography of Mr. Cassandre -- but Wikipedia's info is a bit too detached and cold... I try to find his soft side to create a poem to honor him and I can't seem to find it...

In other words, I need additional info (for me) to create a poem that will suit his character and contribution... perhaps you may want to share your own insight or personal reflection on why you decided to organize and rally your fellow artists to pay tribute to Mr. Cassandre... and how you are able to rally and inspire other artists to support your project --what was your personal motivation... besides the obvious fact of the simplicity and grace of his font --- or even the utilitarian aspect of his design...--- What makes him great as a person and a designer or an artist... I know from my point of view I would have never learned of his valuable contribution if Zim did not submit a daily deviation in honor of Mr. Cassandre... and I would not have learned to appreciate of his (meaning... Mr. Cassandre) contribution had I not learned of your project to honor him...

Help me --- guide me --- get to know him better to be able to portray him the way you deemed it appropriate...

In your own words and the words of your fellow artists --- write and describe the positive effects of his contribution and what inspired you to honor him? make him come ALIVE!

Make me the novice fan of Mr.Cassandre (an outsider) fall in love with him and his work so to speak... if you can do that then, perhaps I maybe --- (take note key word is maybe) able God willing create a poem... I shall try but no empty promises... and no guarantee.
