Oh my goodness. I read about 3 books a week here at college. I'll gladly make some recommendations, but you might have to be more specific. What kind of books are you looking for?
I can make one general recommendation: I read from my collection of Ralph Waldo Emerson's essays almost every day.

I don't mean to be vague, I suppose it's because I'm not really sure how to phrase what I'm looking for. I've been feeling static lately, and I think the best way to move forward is with a good dose of wicked intelligence. Really, anything with a brutal truth and glaring intellect will do.
