Star! I missed joo too!! It's been soooo long!

Eh, I'm pretty good. I'm up-beat so things tend not to get to me. lol Same here, though. Art is limited. XD I work from 8:00am to 5:00pm and go to college from 6:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday so the fun stuff is only on the weekends and I've usually got to work around.

It's okay, though. I miss being a kid; I got to sleep more. lmao

Well, I'm still working on my degree. High school has been over for awhile, but college still has about another 4 years left. lol

Summer classes are tough, anyway. I don't know about you, but it's so hot here I could die, let alone focus for homework. XD

actually, it's not that hot here right now. It was a few days ago though.

I took social studies. it's about economics and politics and history stuff. It's not very exciting...in fact, the opposite. lol.
So what's sociology? is it somewhat the same as social studies?

Social Studies.... Oh, yes... I've had very, very few interesting ss classes and the only reason those were interesting was because of the teachers. lol

No, Sociology is the study of the brain and how it reacts to social communication as well as the social structure in societies as it pertains to the group and individual mind. It's interesting.... but my teacher wouldn't stop talking about the year he served in the Vietnam War. I now know as much about that year of his life as about sociology. XD

lol!! I know what you mean. I think too, or at least in my case, you find yourself there for so long that not as man people leave comments and such. XD Ah, well. Who really knows anyway.

Oh, I went through your gallery and your people do not look like stick people. Don't be so hard on yourself. ^_^

I'm self taught. What I do is take my art and compare it to art that I feel is better then mine even if it's just a page from a manga. I try to look at what's different about the other piece of art from my own that makes it look better. Then I try to figure out how I could perhaps change some line angles and such to make mine look better. After awhile most things become second nature and your skill level will improve.

And as far as tools for colored pencils I use Verithin Prismacolor, for watercolors I use Derwent, for inks I use Sakura, for penciled art I just use a no. 2 school pencil, and as far as paper goes I just use computer paper. ^_^
