Hey, B! Had a feeling I should check dA for the last week. I'm hardly on here. Usually, I'm on tumblr (reblogging kitty pics lol). Sometimes I think about y'all in the chat room and wonder how you and the guys are doing. Perhaps I'll drop in some night. I'm doing all right. Hope you're good. Haha, weeeeeeellllllllllll. It didn't go so well, and I still feel like I left a very important part of myself somewhere up there buried in the snow. Now I'm a CDL truck driver that can be anywhere in the US at any given time.... It's nice, but I'm still missing that daily warm fuzzy purr from my life...

Yeah, it's been just over a year now, we drove from Alaska to Texas... Things are going okay, but believe it or not I actually went back up to Alaska for the winter... Yeeeah. The things I'll do for someone I love lol. I'm back in TX as of the 9th of June however, and probably for the foreseeable future. Just need to figure some stuff out.

Well, Ex-P was adopted by a friend, but I still have Primus and Baby. Baby and Prime may be going to the same household as Ex-P, though. My uncle is going to be staying with me and he's on oxygen. They like to chew on the tubing, but that's more Baby than Prime. Bad kitties. Other than that, they're doing okay.

Been sick and sleeping it off. Went out last Wednesday and got a cold. It's clearing up and I'm getting better, though. The boys are starting to bug each other--some dominance stances and stuff, so I'm watching them. X has been climbing on my bathroom counter and steals my hair ties. I'm down to two. No idea where the others have gone. Baby's staying out of trouble and the boys don't really bother her anymore. Prime is still a fluffy monster and is parading around like he's King Tom. His tail is his banner. Other than that, not much else. Ooh, just got "Whip It". How're things up north?

Hmm, can't really say much has changed.. Good to hear you're getting over the cold .. I'm sure Prime and X will figure out each other and everything will be fine, lol.. Hopefully without destroying the place That's funny about the hair ties.. Try looking under kitchen appliances or the couch, I hear kitties like hiding stuff in those locations.. Or dressers and nightstands, etc. The list goes on lol. Prime IS the king, and he knows it Give him a nice long cuddle for me.

Oh, something I did this past weekend, I drove about 50 miles out of town to pick up a pair of cats that were going to be dumped on the side of the road someplace, and almost took them both home rather than back to the shelter (they'll be fine, if they don't get adopted there, they'll go into... Basically permanent foster somewhere)... But it was an awesome drive, beautiful day (I have a video too, but the link gets owned by dA's smilies - youtube.com/watch?v= pzN0mzKVOLw ), they got free run of my truck while I was heading back to Anchorage, and for the most part enjoyed it. Evel took a little time to get used to it, but Otis was just staring down other vehicles as I passed them by, it was hilarious.. Then Evel settled in my lap for about 15 miles.. I so did not want to take them back to the shelter when it was all said and done, to say the least. And everyone at the shelter was like "Thanks so much for doing this!" (The owner had posted an ad on craigslist, and everyone at the shelter knows these cats, so were extremely anxious about them. I was NOT about to let them get dumped.) For a bit I was beginning to wonder if I did the right thing, taking them back there rather than to someplace else.. But I was reassured that they would be well taken care of. So that was my Saturday adventure, and I've been in several times since to visit them. They're such awesome kitties....

Okay, enough about that lol. Got a little carried away

Oh did I mention my parents want to move to Texas this summer? FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-- I ain't goin. I can't leave everything behind up here, especially not my best friend. Not again.

Evel and Otis were taken home by a couple who were apparently trying to start some sort of rescue group, but did not have the ability.. Or the license to do so. The max amount of cats you can have without a license around here is three... They had 10. And the 6 rescues were taking up too much time from their regular house cats, so they started saying they have to go. I know - great thought processes from the two of them, they very well could have taken them back to the shelter themselves

Texas because the rest of the family is there, and they want to get away from the cold and high cost of living up here. Me? Psh, I'm good with the cold.. It's the heat I can't stand!

That's my plan... Whether or not I can do it? That's another story. I'm having a seriously hard time even thinking about leaving though.

Though if I did, I'd me like.. Within driving distance of meeting you and so many other friends in person.. God I just don't know. Maybe I'll go at first and then come back up when I can afford to do so. Or I'll just tough it out and live in my truck for a while... lol

Yeah, I had a hard time dealing with my family leaving our hometown when my mom retired years ago. It doubly sucked that I was away in college and couldn't help pack anything. I still have no idea where more than half of my room is.
