I've been trying to get myself to draw again. It takes me weeks just to finish one painting >_< It's strange that I am getting better, because I haven't been practicing much! XD

Yeah! I had the same problem too I just don't know how some people just paint something in only a few hours when I take many weeks... :/

I've just recently got into critiquing some work for a friend.
Most people practice painting in order to learn to be quicker.

From what I've observed, people would paint out silhouettes first, add the major colors and shapes, then light and shadows, and finally get into the details.
