My name is Katherine. I am a junior at a little New England liberal arts college who recently declared a painting major and is now spending most of her time trying to avoid the financial reality of that decision.My favorite things are not ruining my clothes with gesso, art historical scholarship on phalluses, Anglo-Saxon noses, Franz Ferdinand, and kale. I'm only kidding about the phalluses.

OMG I had that happen to me once last July, when my friend's parents were going up to Boston to visit her [yes that same Boston friend] and bringing me over to visit her as well. Except also they don't really speak English. I had my iPod full of Franz and chilled out in the backseat and it wasn't that bad after all, in the end.
