Greg Kevakian is full of shit. He stole this image, taking full advantage of someone who doesn't use English as his first language. This is hardly the first time Kevakian has "borrowed" copyrighted artwork. Most recently, he used an image of an injured cockatoo to falsely portray injuries of a bird he didn't even have in his possession. But that didn't stop him from asking for donations.
This man was imprisoned for security fraud years ago, milking god knows how much money from people. He admits to being a drug and alcohol abuser. He is one of those people who uses religion to capture people's hearts and money. Nothing that comes out of this man's mouth should ever be believed.

It amazes me that cowards like MarkMacaw always slanders people online while hiding behind a screen name.
If you read my prior posts, I maintain that Broken Wing was the few that actually asked Peter for his permission to use his art work in a commercial non-profit environment. Peter not only granted our request but provided Broken Wing custom images in various image sizes so that we could use the best fit on our timeline. Peter replaced the word "Parrot" with "Broken Wing". This is the image you see today on our timeline. We would never alter a graphics artists work without asking permission to do so.

I guess we will keep trying. Although we are a non-profit organization that helps people to stay in their homes and keep their pets, we can raise some money to pay for your art.
We also provide avian vet care for those who can not afford such care. Your art work would be associated with helping people and animals.
I feel your work is the best I have ever seen. You say that your motive is to get exposure. If you let us show your work, it will be seen by hundreds of corporate sponsors not to mention the general public here in the United States.
As a courtesy, can you let us know one way or the other.

This is a follow up to our last post. The image that we love is the parrot on a branch. What we do is try to keep people and their pet birds in their homes. If they are about to lose their home we do what we can to help them. We are non-profit and we try to help as many people as we can. We would love to use your parrot image in our publications, giving you the proper credit of course.
Please let us know if we can use the image.

Since 'The Parrot' design was used on 'Broken Wing's FB page we have never seen credit given to 'deviantID' who created it.

MarkMacaw is just another Internet Troll that hides behind a false screen name. Of course all of Mark's allegations are untrue. In fact, the series of posts that I made under Avianguru proves that we asked Peter for his permission to use his art which peter subsequently granted. In fact, Peter custom-designed his art work to reflect "Broken Wing" instead of "Parrot" and sent us several version of different sizes to use on our Facebook page. We have never blocked Peter from our page.
In fact, we warned him that other people were using his art without permission and suggested to he sdend us a copy of his image with a copyright protection which we posted on our Facebook page. We have never altered Peter's work. The images you see on our Facebook was created by Peter himself then sent to us for our use. We have the e-mail and prvate messages betwen the artist and Broken Wing to prove it.
From day one, we have always given Peter Skiba credit for his work and have expressed to him on several occassions how grateful we are for him granting permission to use it:

He's covering his tracks by pretending to thank Peter Skiba; "For "creating and donating it for the benefit of Broken Wing". (Probably has Skiba blocked so he can't protest on the BW page!)
