Nice gallery. I think my favorite is "Over The City's Graveyard", there's an excellent contrast of great coloring and neat bw inking. Like the incorporating of classic comic art styles and super-gory violence. Good work.

thanks for the kind words, and if u like to have more pageviews, please explain better the concept of your art cause u have a nice sthetic and the pastel environment is quite good to manage the liquid dreams and emotions, ur a little surrealist between the impressionism too... it's just a better manage of the words and the submision on the clubs... keep painting... keep dreaming...

You have the 'chops' to be a comicbook artist.
An illustrator at Marvel said there are three rules for doing comic books - "deadline, deadline and deadline."
I'm in the mood to do something sick myself - maybe a Viking Berserker.

Thanks, Fabian-
It gives me great satisfaction when a artist sees something of significance in m stuff.
The pic, "Between CrossRoads" is a portrait of the artist as a young punk beset with demons - an abusive childhood & PCSD from US Army ground operations in "the "'Nam."
In my mid-twenties I drifted from town to town working odd jobs: temp jobs, janitor, oilfield roust-a-bout.
Life then WAS one long hangover. A song that expressed my I.D. was "CrossRoader [Blues]" by Mountain.
The 'scooter' is a 1972 BMW R75/5. It pulled like a train over mountain passes. Only bike I'd ever own.
Your work has expressive power. There's a potential in them that needs to "bust loose."
My fave actor for tense films is Billy Bob Thornton (e.g., "Sling-Blade.")
All the best - dave

In his film, "The Wild One," Marlon Brando portrays an outlaw biker who is a gang leader. A rebel. A spirit of nihilism, of rebellion rules them all.
At a party they crash, this ingenuous young women asks Brando. She asks, "and what are You rebelling against?" Brando replies, "I dunno. Whatcha got?"
Every society is a theocracy. That is, it rests on a set of axiom or Dogma. This consensus paints a world-picture which validates those who control.
These social forces want to control us by receiving both their world-view (weltensicht) and its way of being or world-picture (weltbilt).
Necessarily, your imagination must be crucified. That is the nature of traditions, then, to existentially murder your creative powers in the context of free-expression. But then they are resurrected by the social powers to serve tradition. The subject, once in a state of rebellion abandons its quest for authenticity - for the True, the Authentic.
Really, the social powers, being the political religious priesthood whose name is TRADITION requires only this from us -TO LOVE THEM (ref.1984 by George Orwell).

Sorry - my computer had a hiccup-
I shall finish my thought.
To "bust-through" this perceptual deception we've been seduced into thoughtless compliance with we must assume this "Vanity Fair" is a LIE. More a TRAP. A Creative Imagination is a dangerous hateful thig to the theocratic entity we call popular culture. And if you are on the cutting edge the arts-to include poetry & literature you shall be declared apostate.
Plato declared in his Soldier-Philosopher Republic that all poets and bards would be banished.
Rebel not through political action and revolution. Rather rebel in your art,
i do not believe there is good and bad art. I do believe, however, in the existence of POWERFUL and powerless art.
Powerful art, through skiled manipulation brings to the viewer SYMBOLS drawn from one's own history -but presented in a generalized way. From these generalized metaphors emerge SYMOLS.
Now we're in the game where the action is. For, you see, Symbols are the shadws of ARCHETYPES which rule us unconsciously. Such have been the determinators of who we are personally and racially from the dawn of time.
T
I am persuaded that POWERFUL-ART isand and always has existed outside of time and is A DOOR into the racial AND INDIVIDUALUNCONSSCIOUS.

the time on the graphic work is a very important feature to make a good eficacy to the professional scope, congratulations cause i didn't think it was your first inking, in my case, the longest time of inking in my career was 4 hours ( see the picture of "mina vs. heel avenger")
if u want to improve in your art, please do the things u must like while ur drawing, for example drink something (not just alcohol) or eat your favorite snak or listen your favorite song or band, keep working in your personal growing and try to think yourself as a potential feeling creattor for the other people..... keep drawing... keep dreaming....
