Okay well:

KCAI: I got a $12,000/year scholarship plus they are working on some more financial aid for me.
MICA: Didn't get in.
SCAD: I got in with only $6,000/year in aid.

So I'm probably going to KCAI. I also applied to Laguna College of Art and Design, but I'm still leaning toward KCAI.

Wasn't KCAI one of your top choices? Congratulationssss! That's awesome. Plus, that's a really good scholarship too. :3 Lucky youuuu.

I'm about 95% sure I'm going to SCAD. My scholarship/finaid covers the tuition, so I just need loans for the housing now. I'm upset that it's no where near as amazing as MICA, but hey...I don't want too much debt, you know?

Haha, ooooh jeeze. Well, my parents have decided they're going to argue over taxes...so that's delaying my financial aid and scholarship info for like, 3 colleges...I have no clue. :/ I probably won't figure everything out til late april.

DD YAYYY! Dang, that's a pretty good scholarship! Fantastic work. Give yourself many pats on the back. Haha. Yeah, I haven't really heard too much from MICA either. I just sent them my financial aid stuff yesterday (finally) and I think they were a little ticked off that I hadn't done it sooner. I mean...email them maybe?

Yeah, but unfortunately it doesn't even cover half of the tuition... So it's still kind of up in the air. I'll figure out something, though.

MICA was supposed to let me know yesterday, so I don't know what's up with that. :/

Aww aww. Yeah, I'm having a feeling that a full tuition scholarship is something very, very rare. I was actually at MICA today and the financial aid lady said to take out Stafford loans if FAFSA offers, 'cause they have no interest rate or something.

AND ALSO. Oh my gosh. Call MICA. Their scholarship decisiony things start on monday, so uh...I would get that figured out soon. 'Cause they haven't even given you an acceptance/rejection letter, have they?

Aww, you're not being pushy. If you spent money, you're entitled to it. If you don't get a response, email jdadamo@mica.edu. She's one of the admissions counselors, and she's really, really nice. She usually gets back to you within a day or two.
