well man i'm familiar with this work for a very long time. i've been using parts of this suite now and then.

just sometimes i'd like a darker desktop. my eyes hurt.

have you ever considered making a dark version of this. something to replace the white?

Believe it or not, I almost never see the wallpaper. I have no icons on my desktop, just don't use it

Instead, Total Commander gives me all that I need.

And regarding the colors, I dimmed a little bit some grays and whites, but I must say, not too much.
