Badge? Oh you mean the attorney's badge! The evidence panel fills up during the game. For now, you need to look at the panels on the left hand side.
It's like a DS game, the bottom screen is the touch screen. You have to press the arrow on the bottom screen to continue. It's not guaranteed to work with anything besides firefox though. If you get stuck, there's a walkthrough on gyakutensisters.wordpress.com
