It seems everyone takes lengthy breaks from dA and then uploads something at some odd moment.

lol it seems lengthly is certainly an understatement, especially for me for the last few years or so. I have certainly grown as an artist in the last few years and since I have become rather inactive on dA, sadly since I have started classes this fall at a new university I certainly won't have the time to update my account which I would love to do at some point in the near future. I hope you are doing well also.

awwww. lol that's so sweet of you. lol I had a pretty good day yea, I flew down to North Carolina to visit my mom (she vacations there to escape the winter) and I spent a little time with her before coming back to hang with my friends.

Omg I can't believe I haven't been here in so long!!! I think my iPad came on the 21st of April it's awesome.... A ticket package is when, most commonly for a festival or sorts you by a group of tickets, say 20, and then u get to choose what shows you want to see... Buying a package usually gives u an advantage for getting to see the films u want and at the time slot u want.
North Carolina was nice.... Low humidity and mild heat I'd say.

I have been rather busy. Just settling into summer and thinking about what I want to do with myself. I'm hoping to get a lot done. What are you doing? - isn't it your winter?

Bahaha, yes, I am just settling into winter. Pretty keen for the holidays, I get to go down to Sydney on tour! A chance to actually don winter clothing... ^.^
School is almost over for the first semester. I finish next Thursday. Immediately after I have to rush home from school, have a shower, get my luggage together and have mum drive me to the airport in a 45 minute timeframe. Or else miss the plane... Pressure!!
We had block exams a couple of weeks ago (or was it last week? the time has blurred together) and the exams I am most proud of are my ancient history, maths and music tests. The rest should be ok, I'm hoping. The thing is though, my maths teacher has been on a rampage and alerted mutti to the fact that my behaviour and results have been less than satisfactory in maths class, and yesterday when she (my teacher) told me how pleased with my most recent exam she was, I took it as a good sign. ... good grief, what a long sentence.
Apart from that, nothing much is up. I've been chuntering along through life as per usual, trying to find some meaning in what I do. Actually, one thing that HAS happened is that I've (illegally, hrr) downloaded all three seasons of the BBC's Merlin on my laptop, and I'm having a bit of an obsessive phase. One good thing that comes from this, apart from me being able to watch it whenever I like, is that it is teaching me to be a better person. Hahaha. Sounds silly, but I have watched it so much that whenever a fault occurs in my personality or thinking, I say to myself 'oh, but Merlin/Arthur would not do that. They are brave, and thoughtful, and diplomatic etc, I want to be like them!'. Even though they are fictional. I guess it's just making me feel that little bit happier with myself.
Oh, but (sorry to rant to you, I was not intending to type this much!) last night I discovered that with the current award for the job I'm in, it turns out that I only get paid just under $8 an hour. So I worked ten hours last weekend and got about sixty bucks for it... hmmmmm. :\ Looks like it is time to get a new job. I did apply for the open position at the local ABC shop, but some uni student got it. Isn't that always the way. Those damn uni students, heheh.
