the trip was great. lots of training and connor and i both won gold medals in the world mudo championship. it didn't even rai so much considering it was monsoon season - lots of sunshine

It was the World Mudo Academy which is a Taekwondo organisation. The medal was for Taekwondo!

LOL. Yeah, I basically stole the camera from my husband. It was supposed to be "our" camera, but it quickly became my camera.
I was also hesitant about posting my images in the beginning, but people were so nice and supportive and it inspired me to keep going, despite the fact that I didn't think my work was very good. But somehow just being on DA and talking with people, looking at their work, etc has really helped me improve and enjoy photography even more. Anyway, thank you again for your kind words. I look forward to seeing more of your images!

Oddly enough, Florida has also been covered in rain for a few days now. We haven't seen this much rain in over 3 years, so it is much needed, but I did not expect it to be quite this torrential.Looks like I won't be going out with my camera for quite a while. lol. I hope it dries up for you soon!

I think it's rained here since I got my camera!! Certainly doesn't feel like mid summer! Rain pics are lovely but some sun would be appreciated!i Envy you.. rather be in torrential rain in Florida than drizzle in the UK! .. It's on my wish list of places to get to one day!! Hope the sun comes out for you very soon too

Hi Russ, there are loads of your pics I want to add to my favourites when I get a chance - the 'Times Past' one is the first as my daughter Kat who is leaving high school in a couple of weeks went all emotional on me last night & I found myself joining her thinking it was only 2 minutes since her primary school leaving do!! Then I logged on here, came across your photo & thought 'how appropriate'!! If only we could change time to have a glance at those past moments now & again! Don't want to move it forwards that's for sure. No worries bout replies, I know what it's like, pretty busy with stuff myself too. Alas, no pics taken this week
