I have only two, should I add watermarks to my art and what are badges? I got two llama badges and I don't know what that means. Thank you so very much!

yes, definitely add watermarks to your work, you don't want anyone else claiming that your work is theirs ^^. You can sign it with your name or add your own watermarks through a software like Photoshop. Deviant also has a watermark that you can use and the option for that will appear under the option of your uploading file size when you're in the uploading process of a work.
Now as for llamas, they are just little tokens you can give to anyone for free(onlu one per person) you can use them pretty much to say thank you for comment, critique, favourite,watch, llama or just because you want to ^0^, llama giving is totally up to you .
Look for llama icon on the top of profiles, click and it gives you the option to give llama.
also people may ask you for llama and they will give you points !
and you can do that too.
points can be used to buy your llama stuff, to purchase membership on DA, or to donate or purchase artworks from deviants ^0^ (some do take points for payment, others don't )

yes, some people, like myself, take points for payment of commission.
also you yourself can purchase points using your own real money. if you go to the very top of your page and click the link that says "point" it will show you how many you have and the option to purchase.
